Patrick Cohen et Thomas Legrand ont été filmés et enregistrés dans un restaurant avec deux responsables socialistes. Patrick Cohen travaille à France Inter et Thomas Legrand est un journaliste à Libération. Ils ont échangé au sujet de la future campagne électorale pour la mairie de Paris. La candidature de Rachida Dati a été évoquée. Thomas Legrand a notamment déclaré : "On fait ce qu'il faut pour Dati". Cette prise de position fait scandale.
